Hey there KNS Love the Macs

Hey there KNS

Love the Macs - they are photographer friendly, no doubt.

I use Phase One Capture software and what we call "tethering" to give the instant preview of images on my screen. By tether, I mean using a firewire cable directly from the camera to the computer.

Capture One software allows the two to speak fluently and allows me to make some immediate colour, contrast, general tweaks in real time while I shoot. This way the Client has a better understanding of how the images will look after the shoot when everything is retouched.

Hope that helps.
Happy shooting!

I am an amateur photographer

I am an amateur photographer and I noticed that you are using a mac. I was also wondering what program are you using to see the instant preview on the macintosh screen, almost instantly.
