Pink Dead Whale to open for Metric front women Emily Haines

After an incredible search through hundreds of tracks and artists, MJF and Emily Haines are excited to announce Pink Dead Whale as the opening act for the MJF concert featuring Emily Haines happening March 30, 2008 at the Phoenix concert theatre.

Washed up on the shores of Scarborough Ontario Pink Dead Whale has been doing it's thing. Starting out in late 2005 PDW has been gathering steady internet buzz with track titles such as "The Gun is Mightier than the Sword" and "I'll Never Fail." Pink Dead Whale has stated their music is all about positive friction/hip on hip action. PDW, (actual name Matthew Pyke) has been quoted in saying "If you can't dance to my music then what are you suppose to do?
