MJF/Rogers Picnic Winner Announced

Mobile Jam Fest, the world's largest youth creativity festival, in partnership with REMG and Embrace, announce the winner of the 2007 MJF/Rogers Picnic Film Competition.

On July 29, 2007, at the historic Fort York, The Roots, Bedouin Soundclash, Bad Brains, Tegan & Sara, The Dears, The New Pornographers, Little Brother, and Apostle of Hustle became the back drop for films created by audience members, and their mobile "video" phones.

During the day long event more than 60 filmmakers took up the challenge to create a little piece of art and history. Using mobile "video" phones, courtesy of Nokia, the film making teams produced, directed and acted in their own short films, all for the chance to win an Xbox 360 console, and tickets to the MJF launch party.
